Description
A striking display of carving and jewelry craftsmanship captured in a unique Islamic prayer bead set (tasbih / misbaha). The design draws the eye with a rhythmic play of contrasts and finely carved detail.
The beads are shaped into distinctive fluted barrels with a bold profile. Two noble shades of Baltic amber are arranged in alternation: a deep dark-cherry hue and a radiant golden-honey tone. Precise elongated ribbing on the surface of the beads refracts light, drawing out a wealth of warm reflections from within the stone.
The set is finished with a dark amber guide bead decorated with cross-cut ribbing, matched in tone to the darker beads. The composition is completed with a rich red silky tassel and delicate amber spacers separating each section.
